Who Is Sonic?
Sonic is a Canadian modern rock radio station broadcasting at 102.9 FM in Edmonton, Alberta. Ratings have steadily climbed since launching in the fall of 2005, putting them in the top 10 most listened to stations in Edmonton. A proud participator in the community, the station annually hosts the Sonic 1k run which donates proceeds to the Youth Emergency Shelter Society.
What Did We Do?
We’ve had the privilege of creating plenty of original art for Sonic, most notably for their annual 1k run. One of our favorite parts about working with them is their willingness to try out some of our more unorthodox printing methods. We used our “screenbroidery” technique for the first time on a set of Sonic ball caps, and also developed a textured ink graphic just for their jackets! Heck, we’ve even got to screen print some cool gig posters for local music events because of these folks.
Sonic is an Edmonton original. We give ‘em the most original branding!
